Publishing can be an expensive endeavour! I’m focusing on helping independent authors create their best work affordably!
Prices will change depending on the service chosen but here is an example of the costings.
Example: £600 beta read of 80,000 words.
Initial Payment: £60
Nine Monthly Payments: £60
I can create custom plans and work with you on a budget.

A beta read includes:

A summary of the plot, and the general readability, if I think it falls into any literary tropes.

Depending on the level of detail you are looking for, I can break this down by chapter.

Pacing, quality of writing, believability, and plot devices such as cliffhangers and twists.

Character and fantasy setting/world-building analysis.

The audience, what demographic is this story aimed at, if it does or does not suit and why.

Suggestions on how to improve (if necessary).

A record of grammatical errors and how detailed an edit the manuscript would need before you publish or send to literary agents.
Shorter manuscripts: Full-length manuscripts
5,000 words £100 for 20,000 words and over
6,000 words £120 each 10,000 incurs an
7,000 words £130 £100 increase for example:
8,000 words £140 30,000 words would be £350
9,000 words £150
10,000 words £160

Let’s talk!
Drop me an email with which service you’d like and what stage you’re at. You can include a sample of your work to get a FREE sample edit. That way, you can decide if I’m right for you, and I can properly assess the timeline needed for your project.
Step two
Proposal and Deposit
Along with your returned sample edit, I will send you a proposal with your custom quote.

Your edits are billed in two milestones, start and finish. A deposit of 50% is due before work starts, and the remaining 50% is due upon completion.
Deposits are non-refundable unless I cannot complete the job, so I will contact you and explain the issue immediately.
If accepted, your proposal will include an invoice for the deposit amount.

I don’t have to edit your whole novel/screenplay in one go, we can go chapter by chapter.

If you’re choosing developmental editing this includes any calls about your story not just editing and notes.
Step three
The Exchange
The final exchange is done in two parts. I will send you a preview of your documents with an invoice.
Once the final payment is received, I will send the manuscript and all notes to you.
If your balance is paid in full, I will mark your order complete and email you the work.
